I heard from a CAO colleague that one of the optician councilors has been bringing his own security guard to meetings for his personal safety? I wonder if the college is picking up the bill? Seriously Ontario, you've become the laughing stock of our industry...good on ya!!

So what's the outcome regarding sight-testing by opticians in Ontario? I believe the government has recommended that this be the way of the future.

The College of Opticians of Ontario has released it's 2009 annual report and shows an increase in their deficit to $ 307,000.00 . In the previous year they reported another deficit of $ 197,000.00 . They are reporting $ 644,000.00 in legal bills for 2009 . And still no results . Illegal...
